  • Options:
    1. THAT Land Use Contract Discharge (LUC2020-001) Bylaw 1164, 2021 be read a third time;
    2. THAT first and second readings of Land Use Contract Discharge (LUC2020-001) Bylaw 1164, 2021 be rescinded and the file be closed;
    3. THAT consideration of third reading for Land Use Contract Discharge (LUC2020-001) Bylaw 1164, 2021 be postponed to the next scheduled Regular Council Meeting.
  • Options:
    1. THAT the request for a three-month extension (until February 2, 2022) to Development Permit DP2019-23-C for 3118 Reimche Road, legally described as Lot 1, District Lot 169, ODYD, Plan 10040, be granted.
    2. THAT the request for a three-month extension to Development Permit DP2019-23-C for 3118 Reimche Road, legally described as Lot 1, District Lot 169, ODYD, Plan 10040, be denied, the file be closed, and the applicant be advised to reapply for a new Development Permit.
  • Options:
    1. THAT the resolution for Development Permit DP2019-034-C for property located at 9960 and 9970 Bottom Wood Lake Road, legally described as Lots B and C District Lot 118 Osoyoos Division Yale District Plan EPP90725, Roll#2259162 and 2250163 be amended to state: 
      “AND FURTHER THAT the landscape security deposit of $432,241 be made a condition of the Development Permit to be fulfilled prior to the issuance of the Building Permit.”
    2. THAT the resolution for Development Permit DP2019-034-C for property located at 9960 and 9970 Bottom Wood Lake Road, legally described as Lots B and C District Lot 118 Osoyoos Division Yale District Plan EPP90725, Roll#2259162 and 2250163 not be amended and the owner be required to provide the landscape security deposit prior to Development Permit issuance.

    1. THAT Zoning Amendment Application Z2020-00(Madsen, et al.) be closed
      AND THAT those RLPO Zone owners be advised that applications to amend the RLPO Zone will be considered individually.
    2. THAT Zoning Amendment Application Z2020-00(Madsen, et al.) be revised by the applicants to exclude lots A1, A2 and A3 as shown in Figure 13.1 of the Zoning Bylaw;
      AND THAT a consultant study be undertaken by the District of Lake Country at the applicants’ expense assessing the impacts of subdivision with 4.0 ha, 6 ha and 9.0 ha parcels, per Council's April 20, 2021 resolution 21.04.074.

    1. THAT Moberly Local Service Area Repealing Bylaw 1163, 2021 be read a first, second and third time.
    2. THAT Moberly Local Service Area Repealing Bylaw 1163, 2021 be read a first, second and third time;
      AND THAT staff be directed to incorporate the Moberly Local Service area into the Carr’s Landing Servicing Strategy. 
  • Options:
    1. THAT Slope Stability Management Policy 191, 2021 be adopted;
      AND THAT Fire Hydrants (Water Systems) Inspection and Maintenance Policy 192, 2021 be adopted.
    2. THAT Slope Stability Management Policy 191, 2021 not be adopted;
      AND THAT Fire Hydrants (Water Systems) Inspection and Maintenance Policy 192, 2021 not be adopted.
    3. THAT adoption of Slope Stability Management Policy 191, 2021 and Fire Hydrants (Water Systems) Inspection and Maintenance Policy 192, 2021 be postponed pending receipt of additional information as identified by Council.
  • Options:

    THAT staff be directed to investigate bylaw amendments similar to other communities that consider blunting mechanism or alternative for spike fences to reduce unnecessary suffering of deer being impaled.
