The Winter Family Gathering Traditional Pow Wow will be held November 23rd at Winfield Memorial Hall from noon to 7 pm with the Grand Entry at 1 pm.


On December 3, 2024 Council will start their Regular Council Meeting early at 5:30 p.m. to begin budget discussions. In order to start the meeting ahead of the scheduled time, a Council resolution is required.

    THAT the Regular Council Meeting of December 3, 2024 start at 5:30 p.m. instead of the scheduled 7:00 p.m.

Season End Presentation by Breanna Scott, WildSafeBC Central Okanagan Coordinator

OCP and Zoning Amendment to facilitate a vineyard, winery, event centre, restaurant, and accommodations.

  • Recommendation

    THAT first reading of Zoning Amendment (Z0000257) Bylaw 1156, 2021 be rescinded and the bylaw be closed;

    AND THAT Official Community Plan Amendment (OPZ00003) Bylaw 1249, 2024 be read a first time;

    AND THAT Zoning Amendment (OPZ00003) Bylaw 1250, 2024 be read a first time.

Development Variance Permit to authorize construction of a residential dock

  • Recommendation

    THAT Development Variance Permit DVP00377 (Attachment A in the Report to Council dated November 19, 2024) for the property at 12892 Pixton Road (Roll 02997.000; PID:009-444-301) to allow construction of a dock be approved.

To authorize outdoor and indoor storage of recreational vehicles, one residential security operator unit, minor service (with restrictions), and boat sales for up to three years.

  • Recommendation

    THAT Temporary Use Permit TUP00105 (Attachment A to the report dated November 19, 2024) for the property at 15660 Oyama Road (Roll 1878000; PID 009-973-656) to allow the temporary land use of outdoor and indoor storage of recreational vehicles, one residential security operator unit, boat sales, and minor service (with restrictions) be approved.

Adoption of the 2025 Regular Council Meeting Schedule.

  • Recommendation

    THAT the 2025 Regular Council Meeting Schedule, Attachment A to the report dated November 19, 2024, be adopted;

    AND THAT the schedule be posted and advertised in accordance with the Community Charter.
