    THAT the Regular Council Meeting Agenda of January 18, 2022 be adopted with the following addition:

    6.2 Presentation from the Oyama Community Club

  • Options:

    THAT the Special Council Meeting Minutes of January 4, 2022 be adopted with the following amendment: 

    That Resolution 2022-01-004 be amended by deleting and replacing "total value of $299,930" with "total value of $289,930" and deleting and replacing "tax increase of 1.83%" with "tax increase of 1.77%

  • Options:

    THAT the Regular Council Meeting Minutes of December 21, 2021 be adopted.

Presentation centered around a new toolkit that the OBWB recently released (www.sourcewaterprotectiontoolkit.ca). The toolkit was written for water suppliers with the guidance of a 40-member committee of local and provincial governments, First Nations, academics, consultants, and other water experts. This presentation will introduce the toolkit and share key learnings and next steps needed to improve source water protection in the Okanagan.

To facilitate a 3-lot subdivision located at 5812 McCoubrey Road - Roll 2184845

  • Options:

    THAT Development Permit DP2021-046-C (5812 McCoubrey Road) for the lot legally described as Lot 99 Section 4 Township 20 Osoyoos Division Yale District Plan 521, Except Plan EPP113809 to facilitate a 3-lot subdivision be approved.

  • Options:

    THAT a grant application be submitted to the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program for the Phase 5 Wastewater Collection and Treatment System with an updated total project cost of $19,250,000.
    AND THAT the 2022-2026 Financial Plan be amended to include borrowing $5,133,975 in funds to cover the District’s 26.67% portion of the project, contingent on the grant application being successful.
