The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.

  • 2025-12-270 It was moved and seconded.

    THAT the Regular Council Meeting Agenda of December 2, 2025 be adopted.

    Carried.

    The Mayor announced that the Fire Department Food Drive, took place in Carr's Landing on Sunday, November 30 and through the community Tuesday, December 2.  Donations can be dropped off at Fire Station 71 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday December 6.  He thanked the Lake Country Native Association Anne Bell, Maureen Ziprick, Shannon Azardi, for the recent Pow Wow which was excellent and had a great turnout.


 An application for up to $125,000 to support the Safe and Active School Routes Program

  • 2025-12-271 It was moved and seconded.

    THAT an application to the Safe and Active School Routes Program for up to $125,000, be supported;

    AND THAT staff be authorized to apply for, receive and manage the grant funding on behalf of the District of Lake Country.

    Carried.

The CFO, Director of Finance and Administration presented the Draft Financial Plan

The Fire Chief, The Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture and The Director of Infrastructure and Development Engineering presented on Capital Projects.

The Mayor called a recess at 7:56 p.m. The meeting reconvened at 8:07 p.m.

The Director of Infrastructure and Development Engineering presented on the In-House Service Review.

    THAT the Regular Council Meeting continue more than four hours past the start time. 

    Carried.

    THAT the 2026-2030 Financial Plan Bylaw 1310, 2026 be read a first time.

    Carried.

The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 9:44 p.m.
